Auto: First 15 seconds of the match – the robot self drives based on a program
Teleop: remaining 2 minutes and 15 seconds – robot is controlled by students
Coral: PVC cylinders placed on the reef

Algea: Green balls, placed in the processor or the barge

Overview
2:30 match where 2 “alliances” made up of 3 robots (6 teams in total) compete for the highest score. Teams are ranked based on how many ranking points they receive. There are 6 possible ranking points an alliance can win each match.
Winning a match: 3 Ranking Points
Coral Ranking Point: 1 Ranking Point
Barge Ranking Point: 1 Ranking Point
Auto Ranking Point: 1 Ranking Point
scoring
Robots have 4 ways of scoring points for their alliance. 1. Scoring Coral (PVC pipe) on the Reef (The structure with purple poles)
2. Scoring Algae (balls) in the processor (reciprocal on the side of the field)
3. Scoring Algae (balls) in the barge (Structure that separates the two sides of the field) – Human players or robots can score here
4. Finishing the match in certain areas
Coral scoring
Coral can be placed on the reef. There are 4 levels to the reef. Below are their values for scoring
Level 4 (top level): Auto 7 points | Teleop 5 points
Level 3: Auto 6 points | Teleop 4 points
Level 2: Auto 4 points | Teleop 3 points
Level 1 (trough): Auto 3 points | Teleop 2 points
If there is 5 coral on each level the alliance receives the Coral Ranking point
Algae Scoring
Algae in processor | 6 points
Algae in barge | 4 points
Ending the match
Parked (Under the barge touching the floor) | 2 points
Shallow climb (Robot is not touching the floor and attached to a high cage) | 6 points
Deep climb (Robot is not touching the floor and attached to a low cage) | 12 points
The cage is a metal rectangle hanging underneath the Barge by chains (1 per robot)
An alliance will receive the Barge Ranking Point if they have at least 14 points scored at the barge
